Delicious Breakfast Buffet

The breakfast buffet at the Rivage restaurant was a good experience. The food quality was excellent, especially the seafood and the rice with salmon, which I found incredibly tasty. Elvis, the chef, was not only professional but also a great conversationalist. It made my mornings very enjoyable.

The hotel offers an excellent location, just a short walk from Zhongshan Road, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms are spacious and modern, perfect for families. However, my experience was marred by inadequate service, especially for families, and the food options didn’t quite meet my expectations. While the facilities seemed appealing, the upkeep left much to be desired.

I was excited to try Swissgrand Hotel for our stay in Xiamen, but it turned out to be a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Zhongshan Road and offering nice views. However, the deposit issue left a sour taste. On the brighter side, the family room was spacious and generally clean, but the air conditioning could definitely use improvement. Also, the breakfast was just average and not worth the price. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd choose this hotel again with so many other options available.
